Have a seat!

If you've been in the library recently you may have noticed a new seating area located just beyond the Reference Desk.  Over the winter break we removed some shelving, consolidated the books that were on it, and moved the chairs and study table that were between the Reference shelves up to the front of the library.

People have asked if we've gotten rid of anything, and the answer is 'no' (well, except for the atlas stand - atlases are now shelved at the beginning of the Reference collection.)  We are planning to add some shelving for newspapers and magazines in this area.  Hope you enjoy this new seating area!

P.S.  Thanks for all the participation on the coffee poll - we'll let you know as soon as it's available!

January's Featured Resource is Academic Search Premier

Our featured resource this month is one of our largest databases, Academic Search Premier. This scholarly resource contains indexing and abstracts for more than 8,500 journals, with full text for more than 4,600 of those titles. PDF backfiles to 1975 or further are available for well over one hundred journals, and searchable cited references are provided for more than 1,000 titles. We recommend it as the best resource to begin most research projects. Additionally, you can make use of the MyEBSCOhost personalization features to save articles and citations, build lists, and share articles within a group.
